Love Lost Poem by Allyson Gordon

Love Lost

In the silent night
Everything is dead
All is not living
Except fear and dread

The love we lost
So long ago
Fills our souls
With an ominous glow

With a blade so sharp
You pierced my soul
You’ve left an empty space
An endless black hole

All I have left
Are the empty tears
In which I cry
Created by my fears
