Love Lost In Time Poem by Moth Harris

Love Lost In Time

There's a shadow in my scars you see.
A silver slick of solid left in me.
A silent stillness I've somehow forgotten.
I believe my heart's gone rotten with the possibility.

There's a hand missing from the clock.
I'm here with only ticks, never tocks.
Rocks slide beneath my feet as I began to remember
Just how cold it was last December, all on my own.

There's a lost cause called time and love,
When I need it most, it calls it's bluff,
and I'm left here forgotten, left to remember,
my hearts gone rotten, in the cold of December.
All on my own, the possibility becomes to real.
