Love Makes - Poem by Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi

Love makes bitter things sweet.
Love turns copper to gold.
With love dregs settle into clarity.
With love suffering ceases.
Love brings the dead back to life.
Love transforms the King into a slave.
Love is the consummation of Gnosis.
How could a fool sit on such a throne?

    Love Makes
The transforming power of love! The perspective it brings! From the words of Jesus-

The eye is the lamp of the body. If you open your eyes in wonder and belief, your whole body will fill with light.

And love is love....Amusing. Last line took it to different level altogether. (Report) Reply
