Love Me Like You Used To - Poem by Annie Stotts

I miss the way it used to be
When nothing matter except you and me.
I love the way you look deep inside my eyes
You could see there would never be any lies.
I miss the way you held me tight
We slept like that every night
We used to always have fun
now it seems like we are no longer one
I love you with all of my heart
I can't imagine us apart
I love it when our fingures intertwine
You will forever be mine
It's hard for me to say what's wrong
I'm sorry it takes me so long
i love to look into your eyes
They tell me your deepest cries
I miss the way it used to be
When nothing matter except you and me
