Love Me Non The Less Poem by Holly Heron

Love Me Non The Less

Rating: 5.0

I'd lost all hope of coming back
I'd lost all hope of love
I'd lost all hope of being me
Of being what you see
But I took a walk one sorry night
And hope knocked on my door
I heard an angel calling
And I saw a spirits plea

Now won't you take me back?
Can we pretend I never left?
Cos I'm sorry I walked out on you
Can you love me non the less?

And I'd lost all hope of seeing you
Of hearing you say my name
Now I'm hoping in my heart of hearts
That you can love me again

Now won't you take me back?
Can we pretend I never left?
Cos I'm sorry I walked out on you
Can you love me non the less?

And I miss your voice of night-time
And I miss your smiles warmth
Can't you see I love you?
That I'm sorry
That I'm yours
And my hope? I won't let it die
Like I did so long ago
Cos I know I'll always love you
Yes, I'm sure I'll always love you

Now won't you take me back?
Please, won't you take me back?
And we'll pretend I never left
I'm sorry I walked out on you
But can you love me non the less?
