Love Note 349 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Oh my sweet love how
I wish I were with you so
very tightly and lovingly
in each others arms sharing sweet kisses
and just snuggling away
these late night and early morning
hours fast coming.
I wish I were with you my sweet lady.
I can't seem to get up and get
going quite yet my loving Queen.
I am in much pain and just can't
seem to shake the fogginess and
last bits of tiredness.
I can feel your sweet spirit
and it is helping me keep
a light heartedness that I
would not have otherwise and I thank you.
Soon I must get up completely
for a soothing shower and how I wish
you would be there to just cozily stand there
and hold under the flow of calming water
and afterwards just sit back and enjoy
a warm drink and snuggle on the couch.
I love you sweet dear and wish you were here
to just snuggle up with through everything.
I miss you sweet Kira and know that
I am right there with you
and that I am giving my best.
Now let's snuggle back on the couch for
a bit more and enjoy the warm
embrace of each other before getting up
and doing other things of need and such.
