Love Of My Life Poem by Miss Velvet

Love Of My Life

Rating: 5.0

Love of my life, you gave me your veins, you gave me your cold blood.

You gave me your brain, however mine is filled with pain.

You connected your nerves through me, but only your wisdom is too great to be wasted on me.

Your joints were too long so you gave me them and now we are the same height and both our bones are pale as the moonlight.

Your eyes carry all the light with all colors in, shading the color grey, and my eyes carry the conjunctival that lay around your eyes.

The strength of your back was never given to me so you could save me from my severe pressure. I am not mad, my posture was never my biggest treasure.

Our fingers draw the same shape and length, so we can hold our hands like two perfect forged schrades. I am glad we don't use them to cut each other anymore. Cause once in our life they were blades.

Your teeth endure alot of tension, that mine started to crook. Your mouth carefully chooses its words and nothing is being wasted. Because of that only the sweet things were tasted.

Your hair is strong like your roots on your feet. My hair start to loose and I can feel my heavy pelvis dragging my legs to the ground deep.

Your skin is perfect like a fragile ocean shell, my skin creates the scars to let me know, at any time whenever you fell.

Love of my life,
You share your pain with me,
And all the things that nobody can relate.
I may not be be great like you but it honors me what things I have learned from you.

Love of my life,
Don't think you were born without anyone loving you. I don't have to understand to give you my love, that you created me with your heart.

Love of my life,
You are the love and the life that you seeded me, and that alone makes me bloom for you even more.

Life of my love,
My;
Love of my life.

A poem for my father, it describes how parents create a life and that's their child. This is specifically for my father that has a great impact. Maybe even the first poem dedicated for him.
