Love Of Seasons Poem by Kathrine Philip

Love Of Seasons

Rating: 5.0

There was a Prince in the East,
Prince that had no great pride,
But he is great and powerful,
And nice until he dies...

He took a journey across his land,
With his crown upon his head,
All great and powerful,
But it is only made of Gold..

The cheerful Spring came kindly on,
But it was full of dread as rain began to fall;
The Prince got off his steed,
And gave his only song...

The hot green rays of Summer came,
And grew thick and strong;
His one crown was not sturdy,
And was gone along with his song...

The solemn Autumn enter calm,
When he the Prince was weak and pale;
His bending joints and drooping head
As he thought he failed...

He has lost his crown and his song,
And his color and little hope,
Just lost from helped jealousy,
He thought he lost it all...

Autumn laid him down upon his back,
And cuddled him with its winds;
Hung him up before the storm,
And sang him a new song...

Then filled up a darksome pit,
With water to the brim;
Then quietly placed the Prince in,
Their let him soaks and trim (^-^)

Then laid him upon the floor,
To help him further on,
Autumn then sang the song,
And watched him to and fro.

He was wasted before a scorching flame,
And Lost his only song;
But out of his kindness,
He has been reborn.

Winter comes as a hero bold,
Of its noble enterprise,
For if you come to its nice side,
That will make your courage rise.

A man forget his woe,
Increase all his joy,
Now his heart to sing,
And no crown upon the head.

The Prince with his gift,
A song of love and dreams,
Looks into Autumn heart,
Hidden from others scheme.

The Prince sees the girl within,
Hidden from the world...
But waits for her prince to come,
And show her no woe.

A gentle kiss like a breeze,
Uplifts her soul;
Now she has been reborn,
As Princess of the West..
