Love Of The Puppeteer [2008] Poem by Catherine Beahl

Love Of The Puppeteer [2008]

Thread my heart
With old chains of hatred.
Attach me to your so called
‘Perfect Heart’.

Control my every move.
Your desire for lust
Overrules the laws of love.

I am your body. You are my god.
Give me your love and
I’ll follow your every commandment.
(The laws of the Puppeteer)

Control my every move.
I’m molten toothpaste wasted away.
(Used and unneeded)

Put me on show; pay me for your pleasure.
Raped and damned; you were always
That dumb b*****d who never knew,
When to pack up and leave.

Control my every move.
Rape my words. Play me fool.
Mow the weeds and be gone with you.
