Love: Part 3 Of 14 Poem by Natasha Andeyi

Love: Part 3 Of 14

I don't want my door ever lined by the gaze of those limited by superficiality,
Neither do I wish for the days of standing on the other side waiting for a knock out of the yearning of being alone.

As much as it is the greatest happiness of existence,
To earn its worth requires a lot of perseverance.

This will take quite the time,
So before my timeline matches what's in my heart,
May the knocks my door receive create room for all these questions that cannot be conversed in unsafe spaces.
