Long nights and the conversation floods the air
Leaving me with light giggles of words you share
Breath heavy and sweet
I long to see you beneath my sheets
Holding hands
My head lying on your chest
Promises we make
They make my dreams feel so real
My eyes close to picture your hand caressing my face
And when you say 'I love you' words never seemed less fake
I’m shaking with every thought you reveal
I’m lost in every moment we conceal
The doubts you have let me know you’re madly in love
How else could you tell me I was sent from above?
And every night I fall into a deep sleep
Hoping my dreams will be filled of just you and me
