Love's Fate Poem by Kevin John Racaza

Love's Fate

</>Everything ends at this point,
The point of no return nor continue.
All we've had will turn to ashes.
Once together but is a broken joint.

Can you still pursue this relationship,
When all that's said and done were white lies?
Spoken out to satisfy our heart's content;
Give a shrill cry, a wounded shreik.

I know the two of us will somehow pass.
Choose a path we must take.
Then our roads will diverge,
Each telling what our wants have.

We've trusted on a single dream.
An ambition many couples wanted to reach.
Many have tried but found the contrary;
I can see light, I can't see gleam,

We have to accept what fate has decided.
Mere objects on destiny's plan.
What we've known, what we've felt; bury them.
Move forward to the future, the unchartered.
