Love's Sweet Splendor.. Poem by Sharon Smith

Love's Sweet Splendor..

Rating: 5.0

Your presence sweeps through me like a gentle warm breeze
I turn and You are there...
not just in the Spiritual realm..there before me.
I do not know this host..yet I know Him..
manifest before me.
Have my senses been magnified more so..
that my body cannot withstand?
Oh...that I would melt right here before You..
if I not draw away
My face as fire.
A blush I'm sure the whole world would see
I cannot find my breath.
Can I not even think to breathe?
You are as awesome as a great tree overshadowing me..
Draw away lest my body fail me and I am lost to You

I Am the Lord of 'Hosts'
8...When You said, "Seek My face, "
My heart said to You, "Your face, Lord, I will seek."
I had fainted, unless I had
believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
