Love Stain Poem by NiQ Ombaso

Love Stain

Rating: 5.0

I give up on love and loving
Not because I want to but because I have to
I tried it a thousand times
Was hurt a trillion folds
An eruption of emotions
Weighs on my tiny heart
Volcanoes of tears
Has formed a river bed of bitterness
Fighting is all am left with
Have worn the battles
But am loosing the war
My best feet forward
My last feet crushed
Am a warrior of a kind lost In his heart
My compass broken coordinates faded
Crawling is all that is left
Direction unknown
Hope brought me this far
Strength kept me breathing
Love kept me hurting
Chances got me loving again
Vicious circle of destruction just for one heart
Mine
Is it worth it?
Yes
Can I do it again?
There goes my silence
My heart racing
Who doesn't want to love
To be loved
To be cared for
Everyone is silent again
Now you agree with me
Love is one big conspiracy
A mystery of its own
A cult of unknown
Left for me to write
With a bleeding heart
Yearning to love again
In a web of heartbreak domain
Drinking from a sweet cup of pain
I know I will love again
And that is my testimony of a love stain
