I have written a story,
A finely knit collation of innocence, love,
Intrigue, villainy, pain and death, it is;
It ends in tears the way you wanted to
You and I do not meet.
But, why so.
I know you will agree,
That I ought to write
Only about our love, and not torture;
In the end, you and I meet at a crossroad,
Under the dim street light;
Standing there we embrace and seal our love with a kiss,
Look deep into each other's eyes,
And without actually wanting to
Start walking, hand in hand, towards eternity,
Humming the songs we often hear,
And when all joy and pleasure, would pour down on us,
To keep.
That would be a fine remake though.

I clicked on the 5 Stars. I have surely enjoyed this Love Story. Looks like this is a remake, no? At least you both tried
I am glad you enjoyed this story. We did try and have been together for nearly fifty years. Happy new year to you and your family member.
