LOVE THE LIFE
I was sitting lost in thought in bygone days
Heard a knock at the door.When opened
Saw my lost love standing at the door. Before me
With her usualtouching and caring smile

Couldn't believe it could happen to me.She stepped in
and hugged mewith tear filled eyes.
We remained in each other arms Not believing in my luck
The strains of separation were visible on herface.
No longer looking cheerful since lost her youth and grace

But her eyes were same full of love for me with the serenity of
calm lake as ever before.She caughthold of my handand
said she wouldalways be mine, none can separate us now.

SuddenlyI heard the voice of my grandson who was waking
me up.When openedthe eyes it was already day break.
Looked outside through windows of my bedroom
Saw the birdson the trees as usual singing and welcoming thearrivalof spring.
Treeswereall dressed upwith fresh leaves like brides

Thought to self. Season does comebut gone timeand youth never come back..
Life goeson. we may come we may go.I nowlive my life and love mylife.
Decided now I will live in my grandson's dreams.
He is now my friend , my smile and my life.
