Love Thy Fellow Man Poem by Edwina Reizer

Love Thy Fellow Man

'Love thy fellow man' said God,
'Love thy fellow man.'
and as He said it He wrote it too
and then put down His pen.
For to love another as your brother
and do this simple thing,
He will do unto thee
like-kinded sympathy.
Like the flowers bloom in the spring
from whence they come
they don't seem to care.
They simply know God placed them there.
And so they bloom together
and in the end they weather
the wind, the rain, the clouds, the storm
but most of all the love that they share.
