Love - Tongue Tied Poem by Paul Warren

Love - Tongue Tied

It's just such a simple word said
And I find I am not wanting to dread
That if I say it will you return it to me
It's the confidence I now want for me to see
Sometimes it's so hard to utter the word
As I look into your eyes I don't want to feel absurd
So here I stand so close to you feeling without a clue
And tongue tied wanting to say 'I love you.'
