Love Will Find You Poem by Rob Spiering

Love Will Find You

love is hard
It has been a long day trying to keep my feet on the ground,
There is no love that can be bad,

When it's gone there is no looking back.
When you turn away it seems like everything is broken,
Why won't it wash away, like dirt on my clothing,

I toss it all in a bag and sent it to the dump,
Funny how it's been waiting for my stuff.
You tried to demolish my sole with your feet,
I am now rubbish pounded into the ground,
Never to be found.

I awaken with a strong light,
fresh air on my eyes,
cold hands on my chest,

You gave me water and said it will be ok.
I love the puppy i found that day.
Things happen for a reason you see.
My true love was there just for me.
