Love with moonlight

Everything goes right
with the silvery moonlight
she is sitting at little distance
waiting for my nod and chance

she occasionally appeared
and neared
like full moon
with so much of affection

the moon had its influence
with love's full essence
no one can resist this temptation
when you are knee-deep in relation

it gave me full insight
to whom I considered the right choice
we were full of promises
and took no misses

was the moon really in the grip?
should I keep or should I skip?
it was no time to weep
but lower the self and sleep in her lap

everything was there
with the moon above and her presence
she smiled gently and gave an invitation
it was real magic with lots of excitation
