New man began that day on the tree
when he fulfilled a covenant for you and me
Obedience to his Father as did his Fathers you see
Generation after generation till he came to be

Joseph the carpenter taught Jesus God’s word
from his birth till his murder he did as he was told
by his Father in heaven whom The All will come to know
as the creator of all things above and below

Jesus told us that heaven is here at hand
then why don’t we apply it and take a stand
to footstep Jesus would be one approach
What does that mean; there are no tracks to follow

To footstep Jesus is merely in the mind
it’s applied Christ; with all kinds of style
for example, who would ever think?
but yes, Jesus said it, to love your enemy

That’s one of many ideas Jesus left with us
causing turmoil for families and powers that were
so they hung him and they stoned him, on a tree
risen up by our Father on day three

He went down to Sheol and preached to sinners
He rose again, healed again and ministered
to All that would hear about the Kingdom
It’s at hand, it’s at hand; the Kingdom of Heaven! ! !
