Love Your Scars Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Love Your Scars

Look at the lovely Moon
That without her night gown,
Strolls leisurely with no care
Exposing her deep scars.
Isn't she supremely sweet and fair
That everyone loves to stare?

And the sky in stormy nights
Bares the best part of his chest
To display his golden scars, zigzag and straight.
Aren't they brilliantly bright,
One of Nature's best arts?

And the morning sky without shame
Reveals his tinted scarred bosom
Marked with loaves of recently healed pink scars.
Aren't they extremely awesome
Like the marks of lipstick on his chest after honeymoon?

And the leaves with their innumerable veins,
Are the tree's green scarred palms
That tirelessly fan the travellers
With no sign of pain, rather jubilant with boundless pleasure.
Aren't they look lovely like the hands of professional dancers
In graceful gestures?

So, if you have a scar on any body part
Or in the deepest depth of your heart's heart
No need to veil it with a shroud of gloom
No reason to live death every night with residual pain,
You too are beautiful/handsome with your scar
Really unique and exceptionally rare you're!
