You descended eagerly from heaven
to lave with love my dreary desert pain,
to soothe my parched skin with soothing caress,
kissing my dry leaves and grass to be a source of solace.
The aroma of your balm that healed my roasted heart filled the air,
for a moment everything turned so fascinating and fair
but you disappeared suddenly like a sweet dream in the morn
forgetting your promise leaving a lasting impression!
Now I no longer need your soothing shower
My countless cacti can bear lovely flowers
I'm addicted to scorching heat and perennial pain,
So, you never come back again my Summer Rain!
