Love-High Poem by james watkin

Love-High

Sneaking in between
In a kissed mouth's
Third and fourth intake of
This wine of love

What little for life's
Tight-clenched hold on
Gray reality, unreal
Does bright appeal.

But as bird descends
Through clouds again
Time in the sun, entranced
Wears off. More rain!
