Lovely Blue Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Lovely Blue

Delta silt on her naked poetry
Earth is rivers of joyful seasons
Swans as graceful as perfect clouds
Children know they are miracles
Your smile delightful like singing rain
Grass in the savannah moon
We are the fire of the suns drama
Coral necklace throbbing summer
Indigo waters caressed by stars
Hear the hyssop flowers laugh

Real lovers are moss in the breeze
Hot tears in the censer of incense
Fathers and mothers say goodbye
Forests cry like hurricane children
Catfish and bayous
Panthers in the night wail
Generations of golden leaves
Don't cry it's only lessons
The sky is always watching
Some look deep and see a throne

Earth is a lovely blue sojourner
