The lovely Spring Blooms
Honor us with their colors
Fragrances so refreshing too
And are truly like no others
We welcome every single one
At this fresh new time of year
They look as though they're very proud
And truly ready to endear
Little ponds and even puddles
Await the colors all around
As birds are building their nests
Their chirps too are a welcome sound
And of course we have the Iris
with Little beards and all
The colors simply astound me
So sturdy and quite tall
Oh, I love this time of year so much
For it wipes away winter gloom
I know you feel as I do, my friend
Enjoying lovely spring blooms!
