You found me at the end of fall
Just in the knick of time to break it
We held hands through the winter
By then I was speechless
What did you expect from me?
You used the lines
'baby I care'
Promised I wouldn't fall for them
Didn't take much time to change my mind
You had me
and still do
Just as I was about to open up
You held me shut
Couldn't let you make a mistake like that
Baby I cared
But you weren't there
Your face was beginning to fade
Spring time came
left me breathless
I was left with only a name
