Lover Of All Things Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Lover Of All Things

I'm a collector of coins
pure gold and silver,
special war medals
and old memorabilia.

My passion is strong
for collecting fine pottery,
and will buy more antiques
if I win on the lottery.

I own every record
of Elvis the King,
and old plastic singles
of The Beatles and Queen.

Today I am listening
to songs from my teens
so long ago now
it seems like a dream.

There are hundreds of records
of each known composer
and my tapes and CDs
stretch from here down to Dover.

'Lover of All Things'
artistic and fine...
I'm a collector of coins
and just look how they shine.
