I'm sad,
This lover of mine is in love with another.
Have we met?
Maybe.
At least not in the typical kind.

I'm angry.
I'm not supposed to,
But this lover of mine won't stop making merry with her lover.
I can't help but feel it's intentional,
Even though they're both just minding their business.

I'm jealous.
She's what I want but don't have yet,
Mainly because she's busy giving attention to someone else,
While I'm here treating her like a queen,
Well... at least in my dreams.
She's been making it hard to make them reality.

I'm a dreamer.
But it's alright, right?
She's mine in my mind,
Isn't the thought that counts?
