Lover's Lane Poem by Roger Guillermo

Lover's Lane

Rating: 5.0

A youthful buck
Upon the meadows;
Near a brook, a strong stock,
Hanging around tree rows.

Virgin trails he runs through
Grow stately grass
Lush green, shiny and raw.
The gentle stream runs

Crystal clear and bright;
The sun gleefully shines here.
The buck hops gracefully alight,
Entices its lover.

Onto a lane they prance,
Where Spring's fragrant mist
Freely flows in abundance
They gleefully feast.

Well expressed thoughts and feelings elegantly brought forth with conviction. An insightful work of art.
