Lovers' Words - Poem by Dennis Go
Lovers' words were pale in meanings:
Sweet nothings, letters - drear.
Music played so fondly
Enthralls the heart too harshly
For love to suffer scare.
A share of fondness: falsehood schemes.
Senseless oaths: lovers, dreams.
Music fades too quickly
For love to build its fury
Stalking upon the sleeve.
