Lovestruck Poem by Eve Young

Lovestruck

Rating: 4.5

I won't ever forget
The first time we've met
The day I laid my eyes on you
Already felt something so true.

Those eyes that sparkle
Were like stars in the night
Your smile that's so gentle
Sent shivers deep inside.

I knew I liked you that instance
All I did was stare and glance
It's like nothing else mattered
Wished I could hold your hands.

Was not sure where it would lead
Or if you'd ever notice me, too
Was just glad you felt the same
Now here we are and will say 'I do'.

Love at first sight, a mutual natural affinity well depicted in the poem. A well articulated love poem nicely penned from the heart. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
