I love music
To my mind and soul it's so therapeutic,
And then when I heard the Beatles on the radio
In my life, I then knew where I needed to go,
I bought an organ and then a harmonica
Greatness I then began thinking of,
Then a new wardrobe for daily wear I chose
Then I began wearing the Beatles type clothes,
I then got myself a Beatles haircut
I looked pretty good as I walked with a strut,
Then I knew if I only had a guitar
In the world of music I assuredly would go far,
Who would I imitate, George, John or Paul
In all of them I had respect and I was in awe,
Then every night when I went to bed
Music and songs kept playing through my head,
So, one day I finally got my solo act together
In the living room sat my sisters, brothers, dad and mother,
I told them to please listen to the music I was going to play
As I held my guitar and I began to sway,
Then as I was prepared to play the very first chord
To play the music which I adored,
I told my family to be prepared and to intensively listen
Then I realized, I was no musician.
