Loving My Country Poem by Randy McClave

Loving My Country

I deeply love my country
That's why I served in Iraq and Iran,
Instead of stiffing someone at the sundry
So, that's why I hate that man.
I hate that man because he's a liar
I hate that man because he's a cheat,
Because, in his lies I'm not a buyer
I love my country more with every heartbeat.

I deeply love my country
Which is always factual and always true,
Patriotism is my firmest decree
Seemingly I love this land more than you do.
We put a man on the moon
We put a man at the equator
And we sent a man to lead a platoon
But, I'll never put a man to be a dictator.

I deeply love my country
More and more every single day,
It supports me and my religion, my Christianity
Proudly unto God, I will always worship and pray.
I heard him speak his lies with his preaching
Overthrowing our government was his plan,
With hate and evil and sin he was teaching
That is why, I truly hate that man.
