Lucky Oh Lucky Poem by Timothy Long

Lucky Oh Lucky

Lucky oh lucky am I, to sit and think, or be free like a bee, comin in here and going like a monkey in a tree, sassy and nice knowing everything is alright, hair in the hay playing with the horses all day, in unforeseeing night and space, the mean goat gets lucky not so proud as a cry so loud, the cat was taken out, but was it lucky or the goat nobody knows as the spirits still moan and groan till the morning but friends and family still play in his memory as in today, but the cat gets lucky and survived, the goat hit its head and died, but the cat came back to be known as lucky, his friends rejoked and cheered his merry to for centuries to be, lucky oh lucky am I, to sit and think, or be free like a bee.
