Sometimes the world seems grim
Full up to the brim
With sorrow and tears.
All we can do is frown.

But tonight, please smile
Hum a tune for a while
Let the tears mend, 'til
All we can do is grin.

Because you are amazing
And my lips are crazing
At the thought of your wit and charm.
All I can do is think highly of you.

And it's all ok
Never lose your way
Because I hold you tight in my heart.
All I can do is be there.

Don't let anyone say
Any different, ok?
Because I happen to think that you're awesome.
All I can do is admit.

And you're never a pain
Just like the rain
You're refreshing and essential.
