Lunaticus Amor Poem by Alexander Steen Stewart

Lunaticus Amor

Eternal night, an endless flight
Forever from your arms
But when you're standing near, in sight
I long for your sweet charms

As Winter's cold draws ever near
And darkness here abounds
The only sound that I can hear
Is the beat that my heart pounds

Venus and Luna both conspire
To draw me to your heart
And yet I know to touch that fire
Would have my senses depart
