Lunch At Gabriell’s Poem by Marilyn Lott

Lunch At Gabriell’s

Rating: 5.0

We had a delicious lunch the other day
We heard about the wonderful food
At a restaurant called Gabriell’s
For we were all in a ‘festive’ mood

It is created in a beautiful old home
Inside is décor to truly appreciate
There was a dress displayed for us
A red dress with a statement to make

For it was worn a long time ago, you see
A deep red with lovely white lace
I could picture the lady of the house
A classy lady with an exquisite face

And the lunch, of course, was perfect
A roast beef sandwich fit for a king
I did find room for dessert, however
A light-as-air crepe and vanilla ice cream

Perhaps one day you can go too, my friend
Where it looks as though a family dwells
A home turned into the most beautiful place
A restaurant called Gabriell’s!
