Lunch At Tom And Jerry’s Poem by Marilyn Lott

Lunch At Tom And Jerry’s

We made plans the other day
To find a place for lunch
Heard about a special place
And we all just had a hunch

Tom and Jerry’s was the name
Of a restaurant here in town
And we are so glad we went
Served with a homey dinner sound

The hamburgers are so juicy
With potato salad too
Served with tomato and lettuce
And fries crisped up for you

Wanna steak, you say?
Then you’re at the perfect place
Cooked the way you like it
With a delicious smoky taste

Salads fresh and crispy
As though from right outside
In a well maintained garden
Where their veggies all reside

They make you feel at home, folks
So be sure to make some plans
Tom and Jerry’s is the place
Put your meal in their capable hands!
