Lynda Of I Only Knew Poem by Florence Wagar

Lynda Of I Only Knew

My sister Lynda
Lynda Lynda if I only knew of the little time I had to spend with you.
I cannot change the past.I wish I could we would have been together more that's just understood.

These illnesses that take the ones we love are unjust & unfair for the people we love.

The silence is deafening when the lights go out so my screams & tears go into the night.

Each day that passes is still not clear I come to visit but your not there.
I listen & listen but still don't hear even though I feel that you are near.

I am sure you would say please cry no more. I am at peace I went through the light. It's beautiful here someday you will see.So my Cissy don't cry for me.

I do believe you are at rest the hell you went through was a horrible test.
You are the bravest person I know I wish you could teach me how to go.

You went with such grace. How I don't know
and you can't teach me you had to go.

I await the day I cry no more and we are together forever more.
Till that day comes I want you to know I Love & couldn't miss you more.

Cissy
