Most of the time I’ve seen you hurt ~~ In time I’ve seen you find yourself ~~ Not all of the time I’ve seen your head high ~~ Did you know that you could have gave up along time ago ~~ Your someone who doesn’t give up on you or on me ~~ Your part of the reason why ~~ I changed who I was ~~ I was so hurt ~~ You were too ~~ We both took a look at each other ~~ We both realized the impossible ~~ We seen something in each other ~~ We realized that we needed each other ~~ As I watched are holes in are hearts heal ~~ From love ~~ And from our friendship ~~ You have been used and abused ~~ You may think that your alone ~~ But your not ~~ I know I will never get along with the family I was born into ~~ I will always have you ~~ Your someone I can trust ~~ Your someone I can call my family ~~ My heart has been torn to pieces ~~ You found the pieces ~~ You put the pieces back together ~~ We have became friends ~~ And grew closer in time ~~ It tears my heart in two ~~ To pack my bags and leave ~~ I know I will always have a piece of you in my heart ~~ I know you will have a piece of me too ~~ Until that day ~~ I’m here as your friend ~~ Your family ~~ Telling you ~~ Your not alone ~~ There is only a few people in this world that can keep your head up high ~~ And I just happen to be that few ~~ I’m here standing with you ~~ Letting you know ~~ Your not the only one who is standing in the rain and fighting an endless war ~~ I’m going to miss you ~~ I try not to turn around ~~ And see you crying ~~ As I leave ~~ I know I will not forgotten ~~ And I want you to know you to know you won’t ever be forgotten.
