Machines - Poem by Virginie Guillemette

Defective Machines
poor, poor beings
a cogwork of cognizent chicaneries
Tic Tic Toc
and emotionally distraught
luring into caves
and I foolishly aught not

But I do
yes, I go
they put on a good show
circus tricks
candy sticks
and I love a good show
don't you know

Broken Machines
watch them spin
watch them weave
poor, poor sentient beings
poor, poor seconds on shelf
paint them poor as myself
they follow in droves
leave thier hearts at the door
Broken Birds
Broken Toys
like Dyschordian noise.
