Mad As A Hatter Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Mad As A Hatter

Have I gone crazy?
Have I gone mad?
Chasing dreams and rabbits
Looking for what we had.

I can't go back to yesterday
I was a different person back then
It doesn't matter which path I take
I will take it to the end.

Slumber through chaos wake in silence
How can I be lost in my own head?
I will stop to smell the roses
as I paint them all red.

Why is a raven like a writing desk?
There's impossible things I'll never understand.
You must believe in magic
To truly appreciate Wonderland.

I must be as mad as a hatter
To keep falling through rabbit holes.
Not all who wander are lost
we just have curious souls.
