Maestro's Love Song Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Maestro's Love Song

With passing time and words that rhyme
On beautiful days just like these,
When sun and breeze caress the trees
I think on the joys we once knew.
How we kissed beneath the moon
enjoyed arias and choruses grand.
Walked hand in hand on golden sand
And bathed in the ocean blue.

It's a romantic tale, I remember well.
And I dream of our life constantly.
You gave to me sweet children three
And together the good life we knew.
You were my friend until the end
When dark clouds floated along
But I kneel to pray at dawning each day
To hear the Maestro's sweet song.
