Magnolia Poem by Phil Soar

Magnolia

You kept me waiting to see you
when you arrived my eyes closed for a moment
took in your beauty
opened as your flowers did
and showered the garden with such delight
that the images were burned internally
kept there in my memory bank
to be recalled when you are gone
and remind me of your beauty
