Makar Shankranti
The Ganga Sagar island,
The ashrama,
Bhagirath's penance
For the cursed Sagar sons
To absolve from
The holy dip
And the devotees thronging,
Crowding the space, with
Sadhus, common folks
During the great Makar Shankranti mela.
