Make Everything Brief And Concise Poem by RIC BASTASA

Make Everything Brief And Concise

and so they tell you,
be brief and concise,
you try to follow
you flow on some
self-imposed restraints,
a brief river on a
concise ripple,

you opted instead
for silence and with
full respect for the
instructions of the law
even the fish there
tiptoed on a
tutu.

what a mockery!
the snakes hissed.
