Make Me Who I Am Poem by Sumita Jetley

Make Me Who I Am

Rating: 5.0

In the early light of dawn so clear,
Ayesha wakes with a heart sincere.
A modern soul, with Sufi grace,
Seeks Qalandar's warm embrace.

With candlelight and whispered prayer,
She feels his presence everywhere.
Her head upon his shoulder rests,
In Harminder Sahib, she finds her quest.

The world awakes, but she is still,
Her heart with dhikr, her spirit will.
Golden Temple's tranquil glow,
Her love for Qalandar continues to grow.

Through the day, her peace remains,
In every task, in joys and pains.
Ayesha's journey, a path so bright,
With Qalandar's love, her guiding light.

In garden's calm, as day departs,
She feels him near, within her heart.
A love so deep, a bond so true,
In every breath, in all she'll do.

With Lal Husseini Qalandar by her side,
She walks in joy, with faith as guide.
A soulful life, in simple rhyme,
Ayesha's prayer, transcending time.
