Make Your Wish Poem by Teresa Reck

Make Your Wish

Each wish and dream carried away
on a wind so feisty and strong
where they land nobody knows
could be gone for a time so long

Unspoken words and songs unsung
all waiting to be hailed as true
many wishes spoken some in haste
some dreams may be deemed as taboo

So make your wish and set it free
then wait eagerly for it to come true
but beware you dont wish for the sky
you may end up with your dreams askew
