Malevolence Vanquished Poem by Jayatissa K. Liyanage

Malevolence Vanquished

Droughts can and may
take away the drip it trickles
but not spout's setting
and willingness to wet
association underlying

In patience and hopes
spout waits, letting days pass by
for the blue up in cloud nine
to be marred with grey and
lively drops from heavens
embrace mother earth
